Get started with our APIs. To be able to go live with Lombard Odier PSD2 APIs, here are the four steps you need to take. It's free to join!
Register in the API Portal if you haven’t done it already. It’s quick and easy.
Go through the API documentation (which you will be able to see after you log into the Developer Portal) and to the Get Started page. Build and run your application in the Sandbox environment.
Make sure you have the required local license to act as PISP and/or AISP.
Each country has their own guidelines on obtaining a license, please consult the local Competent Authority. If you have requested for a license in one country and want to connect to PSD2 API in another country, you need to passport the license from the country where you have the license to the other country.
Following the announcement from the European Banking Authority (EBA) in July that eIDAS certificates will be revoked post-Brexit for UK-based third party providers, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is amending UK regulation to require account servicing payment service providers to support another certificate type.
Lombard Odier will be supporting OBWACs and OBSeals certificates issued by the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE).
If you’re a UK-based third party provider currently using an eIDAS certificate for identification purposes, you’ll need to obtain OBWACs and OBSeals certificates by 30 June 2021 to continue to access our data.
Once you have completed the steps above, log in to Lombard Odier developer’s portal and go to API Products to get access to the API documentation.
